Ed Broadbent · Architecture, Delivery & Builds · Sydney

I've seen this solved
many different ways.
That's what I bring.

I design health and human-services systems, then build them — national programs, community platforms, and the operational tools in between.

Real systems. Every URL opens.

Design first. Build lean. Hand it over.

One person does the architecture and the build, so the design survives contact with delivery.

01
Scope
A short conversation about the problem

What you're trying to fix, and whether it's worth building at all.

02
Design
Architecture · options · in-house vs vendor

The data model, the access rules, and the build-vs-buy call.

03
Build
Lean delivery in focused sprints

The working system, built and shipped. Scoped and quoted up front; every change agreed in writing first.

Own
Code · domain · data · runbooks

Documentation and handover so your team can operate and extend it. You own everything. No vendor lock-in, ever.

Architecture reviews and design engagements stand alone — you don't have to commit to a build.

What I take on.

How this actually runs.

I hold a senior role alongside this practice, so it stays deliberately small — a few engagements at a time, by referral and direct enquiry, chosen for fit. I'm genuinely interested in the right projects.

Where I'm most useful right now: architecture reviews, design engagements, a second opinion on a build someone else is running, and short scoped advisory — work measured in decisions rather than months. Builds are welcome too, staged on a longer clock.

Tell me what you're working on and I'll be straight with you about whether I'm the right person — including when the answer is no.

I’ve watched the same problem — how do you get information to the people who need it, in a form they’ll actually use — solved very differently at national scale, in a Medellín comuna, and in a Crows Nest cafe. That range is what I bring to something new: not one favoured answer, but a sense of which of the available answers fits, and the discipline to build only the part that earns its place.

I lead complex program delivery, run Primed as its Executive Director, and take on a few engagements through this practice. How I got here →

Range across domains and stacks

National health infrastructure, community organisations, allied health, hospitality. Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, edge-native infrastructure, and honest assessment of the vendor you already pay for.

Selective engagements, scoped and quoted per project. Remote-first, Sydney-based.

Early adopter of AI tooling

AI engaged ethically and structurally as a development partner. Architecture, decisions, accountability are mine.

Tell me about the problem.

Best for architecture reviews, program and delivery advisory, platform builds, Microsoft 365 / Power Platform migrations, and data-governance work. Impact-aligned work especially welcome.

Send me the shape of it rather than booking a slot — I'll read it properly and come back to you honestly about whether I'm the right person. Selective engagements, scoped and quoted per project.
