In 2012 I hit a truck on a motorbike in India. Fractured pelvis, internal bleeding, surgery in a rural hospital. Staring at rusty ceiling pipes, one thought was clear: I hadn't done enough with what I'd been given.

I finished a Masters in Public Health, moved to Medellín, Colombia, and spent ten years building education and health infrastructure in communities that had the talent but not the tools. That belief stuck: people don't lack ability, they lack the right systems at the right time.

Back in Australia, I worked on national data governance for 85 health organisations, coordinated drug alert systems across all 8 jurisdictions, and co-authored peer-reviewed research along the way. I'm interested in how infrastructure and governance design can support communities and organisations doing important work.
